Default Buying and 07 GS350

Hello everyone I am new to this forum but I would like some info if possible.
I am about to purchase 07 GS350 with 60,000 mile from a Lexus dealer. Car looks and drives great
has a couple of small scratches on right front fender and rear passenger quarter panel which the dealer is willing to fix & spray @ NO additional CHARGE which is a SHOCK to me!!!!
What issues with this 07 should I be looking for?
Also should I purchase the extended warranty?
If the answer is yes what warranty should I be looking to purchase?

Thanks from the newbie!

Welcome to the site! You've posted this in the 4GS 2013-2015 section, you'll get a better response in the 3GS 2006-2011 section...I'm sure it will get moved for you...

I believe the '07-08 3GS AWD is a tremendous value.
* It's essentially the same power plant and drivetrain as the new 4GS. It's not fast, but neither is it a slouch at 300hp and high 5's to 60 (or at the very least barely 6). And the mpg ain't half bad.
* The build quality and build materials are a step above the IS. I expect the interior design will stand the test of time, as it's not too crazy or swoopy.
* The base configuration is fairly loaded, but I'd hold out for one with the ML stereo which is much better than the std audio. I understand that a custom system might be better, but the ML is "ready to go" when you buy a car with it.
* On the downside, it's not a much of a sports sedan. It's capable, but no canyon carver. I found the 3GS to be a nice, quiet ride.
