And that would be for 48 months to stretch out the upside down. 27 or 36 will be in the 900's I think.

The GS they have in stock is actually more expensive than mine was...makes it even less likely

Good luck, I have two anecdotes..
1) I was able to get out of a lease a full year early and they bought me out clean and clear because I picked up another car.
2) I also did this to avoid buying new tires! In the end though, I hated the second car so much that I took a hit on it just to get rid of it.
In short, good luck! But don't do it JUST to avoid buying new tires. The ML is nice though.
