Default Blind spot ( rear view mirrior

I notice while driving, the rear view mirror is in a weird spot as you look to the right. The rear view mirror gives a major blind spot to me as I look in that direction. Has anyone notice this as well? if not pay attention to it the next time you drive and look in the direction of the rearview mirror

I only use my rear view mirror to see if a cop is following me. As for my blind spots I have the BSM and small blind spot mirrors added to my side mirrors just so I can see who is hiding behind me and I need it when I have to make emergency, quick lane changes.

So I have 5 mirrors total and I have no blind spots at all.

Yep, BSM on my car too, although I still look because it's not a perfect system, but it does build confidence. To the OP's point, try reclining your seat or adjusting your driving position. Sounds like you are average or a little above average height and you are sitting pretty much perpendicular to the floorboard. That will give you a lot of blind spots. Lean back a little, adjust the seat to the floor.

I have the same problem with the mirror. It is just very large and set slightly too low, especially if I am doing hills, it can block off critical angles.

Been thinking about replacing it with a smaller frameless mirror - but really what I need to evaluate is whether another mirror can be pivoted further up to be near flush with the headliner.

I don't think you want to be messing with that mirror...especially not replacing it. There's a lot of technology loaded into that mirror.

I don't look at any mirrors while driving
Anyone wants to continue sharing the road with me?

Yeah, that is sort of what I am worried about.

Maybe the RC frameless mirrors will be direct replacements (but the dealer price is like 1K right now).
