Yes, Top Tier Premium gas 100% of the time. I did the same for my Camry so this car shouldn't be an exception.

Good news, Costco Canada has applied for top tier status.
They don't have the official designation yet, but I see them advertising at the pumps. Letting people know about the additives in their gasoline.

90% Conoco

Both 100% Gasoline Premium
Both 0% Zero Ethanol
I get 24mpg combined. 20mpg city and 28mpg Hwy.
Wheni use other gas stations with 10% ethanol i lose 2 mpg combined.

my dealer told me I could use dirt gas and it would run, but he also said if you're paying 60k for a car, why would you use dirt gas? I'm in full agreement with that logic and will not use anything less than 91 period.

Yes they said ok to use dirt gas cause when ur car breaks down they'll get tons of $$$ for the repair.

Top tier is a certification that says it meets a certain minimum standard. But just because a manufacturer is not certified to Top tier does not mean their gas is not just as good, it just means they have not a payed to be certified. I've always found it interesting that I have never seen any sort of advertisement or nothing on a pump indicating that a station meets it. I'd bet that if you took a poll of people pumping gas damn few of them have ever heard of it, which is why some manufacturer have not seen fit to pay for the certification.

Thanks for the update. Wow that happened fast! I was just talking with Costco Canada 2-3 wks. ago and all they said they applied for cert. and were not listed on Top Tier yet.
Also noted at Costco yesterday that they now longer have any Ethanol in there reg. grade.
Here in this part of Canada all Top Tier is 91 octane with no Ethanol. On lesser grades Co-Op contains adds up to E10.
Speaking about gasoline.
I haven't had my GS long yet, but boy does it suck gas compared to my Gen 3 Acura TL which has 14 less horsepower and almost identical in size. Acura 8L/100 km, Lexus GS350 AWD 11L/100km on the highway. Combined Hwy/City acura 9, Lexus 14.5.
But then again if was milage I was after I would been a guinea pig for Acura's new TLX
