Do You Always Use Top Tier Gasoline in Your GS 350?

Top tier is a certification that says it meets a certain minimum standard. But just because a manufacturer is not certified to Top tier does not mean their gas is not just as good, it just means they have not a payed to be certified. I've always found it interesting that I have never seen any sort of advertisement or nothing on a pump indicating that a station meets it. I'd bet that if you took a poll of people pumping gas damn few of them have ever heard of it, which is why some manufacturer have not seen fit to pay for the certification.

If its a nice clean modern station, I'll use it. I used to be a real brand snob when it came to gas before the price of fuel went nuts circa 2007/2008 and ever since then I've just pumped whatever. Havent noticed any difference.

Nothing but top tier for my beauty, of course I have only bought two tanks so far.. Not sure if it makes a huge difference or not, but it just feels right..
Found an interesting article here that made it sound like Exxon and Shell is the way to go based on some scientific testing:
"In our test of regular unleaded gas, Exxon had the highest level of additives with 20 milligrams of residue per 100 milliliters.
BP and Shell followed close behind, while Marathon, Citgo, Pilot and Speedway samples each had less than half the amount of detergent found in the top three brands.
You pay a premium for gas that is 92 or 93 octane, and in our test, Shell leads the pack with 31 milligrams, followed by BP and Exxon.
We found the lowest levels of additives at Speedway, Mobile, Citgo, Marathon and Pilot.'
Heck though, I would use only Genuine Premium Lexus Fuel if it existed..

I just paid $2.22/Gal. for Premium ($1.89/Gal. equivalent for Regular). Nice!
I have a habit of filling-up whenever I start getting below 3/4 full...unless I'm on a long trip, then I fill-up whenever it gets below 1/2 full. I will never run out of gas!

I always fill up at 1/4 too. Started doing that when we got the Jeep, the tank on that is so big that when prices were higher I'd have to pump twice if the cost went over $75 and the pump shut off lol
I paid $2.80 for high test the other day!
