Default Curb Rash After Service Visit

Dropped off my 4GS for service last week to do the trunk recall.

Car came back mid-afternoon with a new trunk release, a full tank of gas...and a scuffed rim?!?

Must've been when they put the car thru the washer.
Go back and demand a fix!

Requested for no wash, so no, did not come from the car wash.

Left a VM and sent a note to my Service Advisor...waiting to hear back.

Wow. That sucks. I hate having to deal with anyone driving my car, they just don't care.

Would be my worst nightmare if dealer did that to my car. They'll probably take care of it though. That's why I always inspect my rims before leaving.
My dealership hand washes the cars, so there isn't really any chance of scratching the wheels on the automatic wash tracks.

Sure it was a car wash? Obvious guess would be parking. They did have to take the car for gas somewhere. Assuming as most dealers now do, they take the car to a local gas station for fuel. Rashes also can happen when the tire is taken off the wheel carelessly. Hopefully you get your answer AND fix without too much hassle.

I've had my fair share of issues with my new GS so I've learned a thing or two lol

If you want results may I suggest speaking with the service manager directly, then follow up with emails. He's probably going to have to make the decision on a path forward anyway, so don't waste your time with all the middlemen.

My dealer caused some minor road rash and I biatched and they refinished the wheel over the Labor Day weekend.Looks great.Got a loaner for the 3-4 days too.
They do a walk around when dropping a vehicle off.
Now we do one together.

Dealerships can be notorious for leaving damage (I found door dings on my Land Rover after a week of service). One trick they use: they give you the car late Friday afternoon (when it's dark), the next day (Saturday, closed on weekends) you notice the damage, when you bring it in the following Monday they accuse you of causing the damage over the weekend and deny any wrong doing.

^^^
Why would you call that biacthing?
Someone damages your car, they should be responsible to fix it!
Let's face it, rarely do we catch the culprit that dings, scratches or just plain damages our vehicles. So I look at it more like they you are doing the right thing, by requesting they repair any damage they do!

Now by *****ing, you mean holding them to fix the damage they caused. Then yea ***** away until they do the right thing

They said they didn't do it of course.
The wheel rash was ever so minor but I'm OCD and biatched it wasn't there when I came in for service and want it repaired.Service manager came into play and I even biatcheded to get a new wheel but that didn't work as I knew it wouldn't.

A new wheel would've been a stretch but you can probably score a nice wash/detail job on their dime.
