70% of Dubais residents are millionaires or billionaires so they all must drive BMW M5s and Benz AMGs so the Dubai police needs cop cars that can out run those to enforce there speeding laws maby?

Visited dubai this year. A whole different world. I saw some of those police cars. Also, some of the taxis are lexus ES's

Could it be like it is here in the states? Confiscated vehicles (from drug runners, repeated DWI's etc.) become property of the confiscating jurisdiction to use as they wish. Auction off, or turn into a cop car! I have seen Corvettes used as unmarked cars here in NC and when I lived in VA. Of course not without controversy. The force was going through lots of tires on those Vettes! Those puppies are not cheap!
