Do you Own or Lease your GS 350?

Talking to various dealers, the GS sales are mostly driven by leases as people can't afford the full payment of buying a car. The cheaper premium GS has been selling like hot cakes because it has fewer options and really draws in the leasees.
The LS on the other has is mostly purchase sales...

Lease as of now plan to buy it off after. reason being is my family had a 2010 or 2011 gx460 and the steering had a problem of it pulling to the right. not cos the tire or alignment. we took it to lexus many times did not fix, we even had the regional mechanic looked at it and said nothing was wrong... our guess was lexus did not want to fix it due to the cost of how much it'll to be fix. so we just traded that in for a merc ml350. and we tend to have bad luck on buying cars, so my gs350 is a lease due to afraid of there might be issue with the car. and we lost 20g on the gx460 with 3 years of ownership....

I've only leased one vehicle (out of many dozens I've owned over the years) and bought that one when the lease ran out.

I leased mine for 2 years. This is my first Lexus, and wanted to try it out. Got a loaded F Sport for a great lease rate and low payment. This is my secondary car, and don't put a lot of miles on it. Leasing was the best bet for my situation. At the end of my lease I'll probably lease another - would like to get HUD and a power closing trunk next time - sounds like I'll have to special order it from what I've seen in CA inventory.

I buy my cars because sometimes I trade within a year. It just so happens I have kept this car longer than most (33 months) because it is so great. I could have leased. Anyway, it will be paid off by early next year when I seriously consider a trade. I have leased in the past, but it has cost me too much to break the lease when I get bored with the car. I know buying and trading is like pouring money down the drain, but that's why I have money in the market to help offset it. Cars are the only area in which I'm not fiscally responsible. We live once!

I'm leaning more towards doing this. The GS is only my third car ever. I generally buy in cash and keep my cars 10+ years. My last car, a Camry, was 13+ years old before I finally got rid of it.

Own - well eventually lol. Didn't lease because I drive way too much and plan on modding and thinking I'm going to keep the car until the frame cracks. Didn't buy new well because I never buy new. May lease an E63 in a few years though
