Although leasing makes the payment lower but if you can get a very low interest rate with some money down your monthly payment is more or less the same as leasing. Most people here pay about $500 to $700 for a lease i pay only $670 with only $3000 down and less than 1% interest .9 to be exact. But remember that my car has more options than a fully loaded fsport.
Thats about $170 more than a great lease deal. $170 is about a half day of work for me so saving $170 for leasing is not really worth it for me.

I do like leasing because you will always be in another new car every 2-3 years but i put lots of miles on my car so cant really lease but when i get my second weekend car it will definatly be a lease. It will probably be a Lexus RC F or Porsche Cayman GTS.

I own because I like to keep my cars 10+ years. A V8 GSF though might make me regret not leasing though. LOL

Its called trade in. If a GS F came out with a 5.0liter v8 or twin turbo V6 then i will definalty trade, even at a loss.

With the APR so low these days, I'd rather use my money elsewhere and finance or lease. I'm leasing the GS because I'd like to drive different cars. I can also write off for what I do. So it's no brainer in my case. We're financing the RX because it's a family hauler. We don't want to be penalized for the mileage. We tend to keep the SUV longer than the sedan too.

That seems like a very long stretch to me. By the time you're done with payments, your GS is prob worth around 10K. If you trade in early, you may be in what they call "up side down."

I'd lose too much money in a trade and wouldn't be able to justify it. It's not easy being fiscally responsible. LOL

hahahaa. We Lexus owners are the epitome of first world problems. My 2013 Lexus doesn't have power folding mirrors. Boo. Or My FSport only has 307HP, too slow. LOL

Default Own

Own. To many restrictions on a lease in my opinion. Besides, the way a Lexus holds it value its better in the long run, for me anyways.

I hate car payments, financed it for 60 months but will have it paid off in another 10-15 months. Plan on keeping it for 6-7 years.

This is my first lease.

I usually keep cars for a LONG time (9+ yrs) but I wasn't too sure if I wanted to commit to an AWD GS long-term. I'm loving it so far (especially since gas prices are down), so I'll probably buy it out after my 2 years are up.
