Default New forum member here - Very helpful forum!

Hello all! Great forum and website! I'm a new owner (as of Nov 14th) of a Lexus CPO '13 GS 350 Liquid Platinum w/ Black (Premium Pkg, BSM, IPA). I am really enjoying this car a lot...

Over the past few days I've been busy learning about the car (there's so much!) and performing adjustments/settings/programming such as presetting channels/stations for the radio, phone contacts, voice, audio, adding close to 100 POIs (mostly local golf courses) in the NAV system, tweaking the tire pressures, etc., etc., etc.

I've had the opportunity to read a large number of threads on many different topics of interest going back a couple of years and I have learned a lot that I would not have easily learned otherwise. Very helpful!

I have a few questions I'll ask in separate threads a bit later.

Thanks sick21!

It depends on ones definition of 'local'. I'm in Plano, a suburb of north Dallas, and we have tons of really nice golf courses nearby.

Cool! Thanks for saying hello. I have family that live in Lakewood on Ellsworth Avenue, a few blocks east of Abrams Road.

Thanks! The 4GS forum sure seems nice - active, helpful and friendly. It has a good feel to it...like sitting behind the steering wheel of a GS 350!

I used to be in a Toyota forum for a long time until I traded in my Camry. I originally wanted the 2IS cause it's more affordable, never thought I would end up with a 4GS but now I'm here in the 4GS forum with Sick21 and we're driving the exact same car too! lol

It feels like home here and the Toyota forums didn't feel like home. lol

It's actually funny you mention that. My wife has a 4Runner and the forums over there are no where near as relaxed and enjoyable as they are here. At first I wasn't sure how it would be here, I wasnt sure if it'd be a bunch of bitter old dudes or what. It's safe to say, it's not like that at all. (Probably makes me stupid to admit I considered that a possibility before signing up )

Edit: ItzFilyO and are two great minds that think alike haha I was kinda shooting for something slightly smaller and cheaper but the F Sport was pure sex and the great lease deal that I got absorbed all of my negative equity on my VW lease, and my VW had a smashed rear-whoops..........
