GS needs a turbo. When?

Lexus now has 2.0 inline 4 turbo which will go into NX first and then into RC and IS.
Hopefully GS too.
Im sure 3.0 v6 Turbo is in development but nobody knows the timeframe?
I just hope its an inline 6.
MB is also going back to inline 6 engines.
Considering Audi, BMW, Jaguar, MB all have 3.0 FI engines some for several years now - Lexus def needs a competitive engine.
I think it will be introduced when new LS comes out, as the base engine for the LS.
Im hoping for 2016 model year.....

After some thought, I don't think we will see turbos from Lexus - they have been using hybrids instead of turbos to boost output. I could even see a hybrid 4 cylinder being added the mix. Once the weight is under control, it will be better from a torque perspective since it starts at 0 rpm.
As for a four cylinder hybrid, that's already being used in the ES300h and NX300h.
Lots of new and exciting things to come from Lexus!
