That's very helpful. The MSRP I have in hand is $57,615. Basically the same car. Thanks!

MSRP 57.6k (Fsport), Sale Price was a little less then $51K. I don't remember exactly. The money factor and residual were whatever the standard Tier 1 credit level they were offering. I honestly don't remember, I would need to look at my contract again.

Tier 1+ is the highest rate from Lexus Financial Services, anything above 720 so no extra "credit" for 800+! Nicely done though

Tier 1+ again for those who missed it = .00090 up to 48 months

So I should negotiate 0.0009 for tier 1? I'm probably a 730 fico signing with my wife who's also a 700 but first time buyer.

What the heck does this mean? I understand the 24 12k and 70, but is that .00050 the mf? I thought it was .00090 and what's the 5000 represent???

Sorry, I'm not exactly sure how the co-sign works if they take your score or your wifes, or average it out. Have them check all 3 credit bureau's though if your that close, and you may find one score higher than the other. I think at that point they average the score.

Call a couple dealers BEFORE you go in there to get the facts straight.. Also have them beat each other out on the deal, I highly suggest negotiating online and via phone before going into the dealership, forces them to give you the best deals to get you in the door!

Dealers is some states just use one of the 3 major credit bureaus.
NJ dealers uses TransUnion and NY Equifax.

Another night of negotiating via emails and not getting much accomplished. Currently I have one dealer down to $49,390 (MSRP $57427) on 2014. Another offered $53850 (MSRP $57850) and basically told me to kick rocks when I tried to negotiate more. I'm leaning towards the '14 because it'll be $525 with taxes included. I'd rather get a '15 but no one is really negotiating any on them, at least not with me lol.

When I heard back from dealer today with pricing my reaction was
Price was amazing!

Chuckled as I casually explained to him that he could definitely do better than that
Vehicle Price $57,685.00
Vehicle Selling Price $49,379.44
Residual $41,533.00

I don't have the contract copy since car was not ready to be picked up (landed a day earlier from Japan). Picking up nebula grey car tomorrow.
