Default Is 2014 GS way better than 2013?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to be part of the family since this current generation has been released, but I couldn't afford a new one. I wanted to get a 2014 one because of the 8 speed transmission, but I found a really good GS 2013 F-sport for 40000$ with 13000 mile on it.

My question is: should I go for the 2013 model, or should I wait and keep searching for 2014? does the 2013 has more problems than 2014 ??

Thanks in advance

I have a 2013 theres minor differences like power trunk, power folding mirrors and the 8sp. But if you dont care about all that crap get a 2013.

I would say the opposite. I hate 8spd tranny. I think 2013 sits lower. 2014 has a few cool features like filding mirrors.

I really wish there was a car site that listed every model year change for cars.

I think the Enform system is more advanced in the 2014 as well. Not sure what the difference is. I have a 2013 and I love it.

I think the 2015 gets double paned glass windshield for more sound insulation.

From my experience, don't buy first production year.

My 2013 had lots of rattles and stuff. Just picked up a 2015 and everything seems more refined. No rattles yet...

It does? I thought the AWD was higher and the RWD was lower, regardless of year.

I'm seriously considering upgrading/trading-up to a 2015. The NAV looks a lot better and the color combos are enticing.

2013 to a 2014? Besides the folding mirrors, I don't think it's worth the trouble.
