I've never had any issue with my AWD either, however I do keep my car in the garage at night so it does not get that cold. For those of you with the issue, are you keeping your cars outside? If so, what kind of outside temps are you talking about? 60s, 50s, 40s, less?

It happens mostly on 3rd gear and sometimes 4th. This also happened to the 2014 Premium I traded in as well. I think it's just the characteristics of the transmission.
I believe you are probably right, especially since it goes away at warm temp and it never actually sounds harsh, just feels like crap.

I can't multiquote, sorry..

I do keep my car outside and I believe I started noticing this issue when the low temps started getting down below 50f at night.

I've experienced the jerkiness when the car is first started, but it usually only lasts a few minutes. I think I'm more annoyed at how long it takes the car to downshift in general, and especially in manual mode or when tapping the paddles.

^Yeah I noticed that when I floor it to pass someone, say going about 55mph, it will downshift one gear and then hesitate a while and then downshift a few more. It's annoying. I want it to drop the gears and NOW but oh well.

My car is in the garage as well. I mean this only occurs for a couple of minutes but once the car is fully warmed up it stops doing all that. I'm guessing its a safe guard.

That part I agree with. It is nowhere near as responsive as the 2010 I had. I have to drive in Sport + mode to get the response I want.
