brakes seem touchier, but again, it could be since the car is brand new, and in S+ the steering is stiffer, but again, all of this can be since the car is brand new.

i will say i LOVE the combo, IMO the best combo for the car, that Cabernet interior is amazing, and im glad i got this combo the 2nd time around.
I agree that sometimes the feeling of the new car may always feel better then the car that has certain amount of miles on it but either way it looks like Lexus made some solid improvement to the quality and feel of the car. I will test drive one this weekend to decide to trade in my 2013 Lexus GS f-sport earlier rather then waiting till March 2015 when my lease ends. My other cars in the house are the 2012 Audi A8L, 2014 Audi A6 TDI and 2013 ML350 bluetec. The GS is a great car and has a great balance of ride and handling among the cars I have in the garage. I have considered the new 2015 BMW 640xi gran coupe but with the massive problems I had with my 2011 BMW 535i I just cannot sit in another BMW for a while.

ya, it seems a bit harder to move around. on my '13 GS i had to put the feedback on the max setting, but for this one i havent touched it yet.

How does the GS compare to the A6 TDI? Those were the two cars I was looking at, but went with the GS because of the competitive lease rates. I don't regret it one bit, but would love to hear from someone who's driven both for a long time!

The A6 TDI engine has a lot of low end torque and can accelerate to highway speed with ease. The steering is a bit numb and feels lighter at lower speed then the GS. The handling is close to the GS but the GS gives a better handling feel without sacrificing the ride quality. The sports package on the A6 can make the ride a bit choppy on uneven pavement whereas the GS absorbs the bumps better. wThe A6 brakes are definitely better then the GS. Overall both cars are great in their own respect.

I was curious so I looked at my window today. It's also dual pane. Mine is '13 Luxury. Is this because it's Luxury vs. non Luxury?

yup.

the luxury packages have always had dual pane.

glad they added it to the f-sport too.

just because we want the f-sport doesn't mean we don't want a uber-quiet interior hehe.
