What is one thing about the GS that puts a smile on your face?

After driving European for several years and having to deal with issues almost every month, when I don't see a "Check Engine Light" flashing, that brings sighs of relief.

The fact that I dont have to push a button inside the car to open gas cover.
The fact that I can set three different memory seats not only in the drivers seat but also the passenger. I use the passenger memory to move the seat forward so I have more space to put my toddler, into her front facing child seat.
The fact that my wipers and headlights are automatic.
The fact that people stop and stare and ask me what car it is.
The fact that I have avoided many accidents because of the rear cross traffic alert, so responsive it can predict a car heading my way wayyyy before I can see it on the backup camera.
The fact that everytime I park my car I dont go into the house immediately but sit in it for at least 5 more minutes.
These are but one of a few things I like about my car.

The only thing I wish my GS had was Brake Hold feature when I am stuck in traffic and want my foot to rest. More horsepower and torque would be nice. I wish my GS has two memory settings for tire pressure monitors so I can have two sets of tires/wheels.

The best thing that puts a smile on my face is the fact that I get to drive it while my other friends are at dealers most of the time. Also the front grill (hint they have German cars.)

  • The Cabernet leather
  • The sound you hear when you step on it
  • The way it gets up and goes when you step on it
  • The steering feel and the way it handles
  • The sounds coming through the Mark Levinson system
  • The fact that it does enough things well that it has kept me interested for 31 months, longer than any other car in the past 14 years of ownership

Looking back while still walking forward after I parked it. The minute I saw the 4GS debut online I thought Lexus flopped, I thought it was hideous. Now I think my car is beautiful. The steering is so precise it scares me also.

I love everything about the car, especially when your driveing down shopping centers or parked next to a hot girl. She looks at you and waves hi, you wave hi in return. You do the telephone hand thingy so you can get her number, she smiles and says no. Then you realize your wife is sitting right next to you with "that look".

So if your single, chick magnet. If not gets you in trouble.

Every time I pull into a parking spot that I should have been aimed at better, I probably get a big stupid giddy grin on my face because the GS turns so sharp. It really saves my **** from having to back up and try it again.

Also the GS F Sport front bumper, probably the sexiest thing Lexus has ever produced, IMO.

ML audio, looks, engine sound under WOT and the windows down, and that mean F-Sport front end. To a lesser extent, the way it breaks necks at night with people on the street swiveling around to see what just drove by after seeing the christmas tree front end (DRL's plus HIDs). That screen too, it's just such a big beautiful spoiler.

Can u actually hear the good engine sound from the outside or is it just good from the inside cause of the sound generator that is pointed to the cabin?

I never hear my car WOT from the outside cause I'm always driving.

I have wandered this also, but from a few tests of WOT and my window down, I think it does sound pretty similar as it does inside. I'm just not sure how far the sound carries and how pronounced it is.
