Default 3rd Gen GS 350 VS. 4th Gen

For those who owned the 3rd Gen GS 350 and now own a 4th Gen,

I am considering trading my 2008 GS 350 for a 4th Gen.

This car has been awesome.

Interested in comments for those who owned a 3rd Gen and now own the 4th Gen.

Thanks.

There are a couple of threads on this, The 4th Gen vs the 3rd Gen is night and day the interior is what really sold me. It really has the feel of the luxury vs the 3rd gen, and I have yet to hear a rattle like my 3rd gen.The best way to sum up the 4th gen is its way more fun to drive than the 3rd gen.

+1 . . .went from a '10 GSh to the '13 GSh. Don't get me wrong, we are talking about two fabulous cars for their time. The improvements inside and out are something to consider. And for me, the mileage improvement from the 3rd gen hybrid to the 4th gen hybrid sealed the deal. Too many more pluses to list here.

I've had both. I like both a lot. But Lexus did an amazing thing. The new one has everything I liked in the 2010 I had but made the new one handle better without hurting the ride, added many new features without going up in price a lot unless you load it up, and it's even more refined. I cannot imagine anyone who liked the old one not liking the new one more.

I get almost exactly the same mileage, which is okay because I get good mileage. My only complaint is that with the eight speed it is not as responsive unless you put it in Sport + mode. But in normal driving in normal or Sport mode the transmission is extremely smooth and refined, just doesn't want to kick down as easily.
