Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone happens to know what the oem subwoofer is crossed over at and/or if any of the other speakers are truly full range?

I am looking to install a subwoofer and am unsure whether an audiocontrol lc2i will be sufficient or if I need a signal summing model like the lc7i.

I have the LC2I connected to the OEM sub and it sounds great. Frequency response is pretty flat, just how I like it.. I'm pretty sure none of the channels are full range.But just from my ears, it sounds like the front door speakers over-lap the stock sub frequencies a bit. So if you're not happy with the sound, you could sum the front doors and stock sub. But I don't think you would need to.

Thank you very much for the reply I really appreciate that! I just changed my order from the lc2i to the lc7i based on your suggestion. I will attempt to try both ways and see what the sound differences are.

I think the problem you'll face is that the stock sub doesn't go low enough, regardless of summing signals with the doors.

The stock sub is probably low passed in the 80hz neighborhood, but the high pass will be the problem.

True. I think the roll-off is a little lower than that though. I don't usually condone this, but bass boost at around 40hz on the amp could flatten out the response a bit.
