Tesla style LED 3rd brake light strip?
Interested in doing something like this to my GS. I want it to look OEM and nice. I also want to convert every light and signal to LEDs. Has this been done?

Don't know about the Tesla brake lights but yes, you can change every light. The headlights will cost you your left arm. There's several threads on the different LEDs you can use.

That third brake light will be easy to do, just get a long red LED strip and tap it into ur third brake light wires.
But that looks too big for me, never been a fan of a long third brake light.

I will be doing this mod in my 2007 IS250 within the next month. Stay posted and I will upload pictures of my progress and the things I ordered. So far I have everything I need but just have to fly home to start on the project lol.

I wanted to do this to a roof wing using an LED strip just like the formual D drift cars.

I received the 3rd brake light and it was way too big for the strip I was going to put on top of the rear window. I've found that the best looking ones are an LED strip but then have a clear plastic/rubber material over the LED strip to make it look like one solid red line when you brake. The hard part is finding an LED strip with the extra material that is low profile enough for whatever wing you end up using. Good luck!
