its nice to finally see that lexus has taken a turn for the more power side but, that cars gonna come at a steep price.

im guessing this gsf has to be more expensive than the rcf considering that it does have more ponies. id say maybe 80-90k or maybe even 100k. with that being said im sure some of you know that INFINITI is comming out with the 'four door gtr" aka Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge should be priced relatively close..

only time will tell lols

My guess is starting in the mid $70s.

Mid $70K USD would make it a worthwhile upgrade for me. Damn it! I should have leased my GS. LOL

The website posted seems to think it will be around £80,000. Yeah for almost $130K I'll pass.

At that price point, who is the target buyer? It is certainly not ALL of the current GS owners. Hell, even 70K would be a stretch for me. But 130'ish? Not happening.

Just because it might be £80,000 doesn't mean it will be $130,000.

A loaded luxury GS450h in the UK is £54,000, if you did a straight conversion from £ to $ then a comparable GS450h would be $88k...it isn't...its $70k.

An M5 starts at $93,600. My guess is a fully loaded and spec'ed out GS-F would be considerably less than even that. I'm saying mid $70s to start, fully loaded under $90k. A FULLY loaded M5 is $130k, and thats competition pack, executive pack, ceramic brakes, upgraded leather, etc etc. GS-F won't be near that.

Mid $75K to mid $85K USD would make it a serious contender for me. Lexus would have to price it around there to make it competitive with the Germans.

Now that the 450h tops out around $70k, $75k to start for the GS-F makes sense.

70 to 75k USD I'm betting. The Infiniti Eau Rouge is definitely going into limited production soon. BMW should be pretty worried at this point. They will have some real competition in the segment for the M5/M6 besides the AMG Mercedes.

So, so glad the Japanese manufacturers quit their sub-300hp "gentlemen's agreement" they used to have years ago. I knew this would be the outcome, just a matter of time. Fine time to be a car enthusiast, that's for sure.

Also, did anyone notice this is wearing the full TRD kit (rims, exhaust) but still has the USDM headlights? I expected it to have the twin LED projectors that the home market gets.

Why shouldn't the GS F price be about the same as the RC F? For $65K base they would have a home run. Easy to then offer pricey options so that people could trick out a $90K version if they wanted to. Just sayin'

My guess is it's going to start around 85-90k. Traditionally, Lexus always start with a higher base than competitors, but with more standard equipment.

Because then no one would buy an RC-F.

Because the GS is a step above the RC in Lexus' lineup. The RC essentially is an IS coupe (yeah yeah, its "not" I know but really it is, and an A5 is an A4 coupe, and a 4 Series is a 3 Series coupe, etc etc)

The GS-F will be more powerful with more equipment, better quality, and will cost more.

That newer front bumper looks like it will fit fine on our current model!
