Default How many miles on the stock Dunlop SP 5100's?

Just curious as to what some are getting on tread wear mileage on these tires along with snow traction.
Wondering if I have to buy a set of tires before the end of lease. If so,I'll buy a set in a month or so.
Anyone get 25K-27K miles on these crappy noisy tires?

Thanks, Richard.
Looks like I may go with set of top rated on Tire Rack Pirelli Cinterato P7 all season Plus tires.
I'll get them soon so I can enjoy having a better tire for the balance of my lease.

Roughly 22K on mine. I've rotated a couple of times and thus the wear appears to be close to even all around. I'll stick with these a little while longer as I am not in a real need for winter season traction. I'd be interested in hearing about the Pirelli's as I have had good experience with their P-Zero line on other vehicles. I'd also like to hear about something other than the forum favorites Michelin and Continental.

Thanks for the reply, moose.
I'm probably going to get tires in a month or so.
The Pirelli or Michelin MXM4's.
I'm leaning toward the Pirelli because of better ratings and $35 less cost per tire from Tire Rack.
Tough for me not to go Michelin.I usually always buy Michelin.

Many of us here are baffled at the consumer ratings for the Pirelli P7 AS+. When I drove on it in the dry and on my road ride, I found it to be a fantastic tire. When I hit the test track with the sprinklers on, I couldn't make a turn without the rear end sliding. -even at a slower speed.

You can read the survey information from our test here. It needs wet weather help.

I hope this info helps.

I'm hoping not many so I can justify replacing them.

Well it looks like the choice in the near future will now be the MXM4's.

Have the pzero high performance tires...worst tire I've ever owned. 2 out of round, won't balance for the life of them...glad I won them because I'd be pissed if I pay for them. ..put less then 200km on them and they will be going up for sale !!!

For someone in a climate that doesn't see much rain, it would be a great tire I feel.

No snow here. But here is how mine looks. All four tires look about the same. Rotated every 5K. It's a little more than 30K now. Still got about 3mm or so but also thinking about getting a new set to enjoy instead of having to get a new set near lease end.

Have 25,400 on our set, with about 6/32s left. In Nashville area and we get snow here, so waiting to see how they will do in snow.
