Works after resetting network settings
Ok guys got it to work with my 2013 Lexus GS350. I went ahead and 'reset network settings' on my iPhone and connected it as a new phone on my car and it worked again. Hope this helps. Again I'm on the new ios8.

2013 GS 350 and iPhone 6 here. Same issue. Reset Network Settings, set up as new phone. Same damn issue. Can't make calls. I even made sure to rename the phone, so Lexus system doesn't get confused.
I think I'm going to return this damn phone. Useless if I can't use it in the car.
I switched from an Android device, so no backups. Set it up as a brand new device.
Here's a link to an Acura forum where users are reporting identical issues - steering wheel controls not working, can't make calls.

Did u guys setup a name for ur iPhone? Cause with iOS 8 it changes the name to just "iPhone" every time u do a "reset network settings". So this will confuse the other paired Bluetooth device.
iOS 7 didn't do this, it just keeps whatever name u had before the network reset.

I've renamed my phone and tried a clean pairing after deleting all connections and nothing, I haven't yet tried reset network settings. I'm also renting a 2015 Cadillac Escalade right now while on vacation and I'm having the same issue with this phone. I brought along my old 5s and connected it to the car and there are no issues. It seems the Cadillac Cue system will pair the phone but then not even recognize it, seems to be an issue with the phone not the cars. Just updated to iOS 8.0.2 I'll try again when I get home and see if it works now on my 6 plus.

I'm having trouble linking my iHeartRadio account to Enform but everything else is good. Maybe the server is down.

So after the 8.0.2 update my car functionality returned. I didn't need to repair my phone or anything. This morning I took the iPhone 6 box and the old phone with me, thinking I'd go over to Verizon and return the damn thing. But I was magically able to make a phone call without it dropping and end it via the steering wheel button. I'll test it through the day today to see if anything is still broken. But I guess this was the only real showstopper. I like the phone overall and will probably end up keeping it.

what TSB are you referring to? I sometimes have issues with my iPhone 5 not allowing me to go through my songs (via bluetooth) I have to go onto to the phone and select a song and then it operate as it should.

Paired my new iPhone 6 no problems. Those of you having problems, make sure you're running iOS 8.2.
I actually think BT streaming sounds better from the 6 vs the 5, anybody else think so?

Lead Lap
I don't know the number, but the dealer should know. It has been out for over a year, so depending on when you bought your car, it may already be installed.

On your iPhone...go to settings and Bluetooth. You'll see "CAR MULTIMEDIA" thats the Lexus' BT profile. Click the "i" to the right. Select "Show Notifications". Now you'll get your text messages.
