Default Same Problem

This worked! Thanks. I thought I had done a complete "de-install". But your instructions showed I had not.

The speakerphone disconnect and unresponsive steering wheel controls issues disappeared after the following steps, hopefully this is repeatable for more folks:

1. Unpaired and deleted the phone from the car
2. Removed/forgot the car's bluetooth handshake from the phone. (Settings -> Bluetooth -> Car's name -> Forget Device)
3. Uninstall Lexus Enform App
4. Reset Network Settings on the iPhone 6+ (Settings -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings)
5. Restart iPhone
6. Re-paired the phone as usual
7. Re-install Lexus Enform App, log-in

Everything is working as expected now and I can make and receive calls from the phone and from the car's phone screen. Steering wheel controls and text messaging notifications also work as expected. Still can't reply with canned messages though.

How important is the step of logging in on newly installed Enform app? I have tried this several times except last step and does not work. Also when I turn my phone off and turn back on my BT reads "no service" Thanks drnelly.

Almost everything works on my 6+ with my 2013 GS, except podcasts. I can't play them through the BT menu. Works fine if I start through the phone menu.

How do I delete the old phones on the car bluetooth list?

Did all this except the Enform App reinstall and it didn't work. Phone connect briefly after dialing a number then disconnects. What does the Enform app have to do with making and receiving phone calls.

I can listen to music and Audible app without a problem over Bluetooth.

The Enform app has nothing to do with phone calls. I never run the app and my phone still works.

I got this from an Apple forum and it worked for me:
https://discussions.apple.com/thread...t=105&tstart=0

-Deleted device from car.
-Switched off car ignition.
-locked car
-Deleted network settings on iP6.
-Hard reset iP6.
- Waited for iP6 to boot up to home screen, switched off iP6 by power off.
-unlocked car
-Switched on car ignition , switched on Audi MMI, selected telephone and set car Bluetooth searching.
-switched on iP6,gave iP6 new name in settings/ about.( new name not critical, works with generic 'iPhone ' name.)
- Accepted car request to pair with iP6
- told iP6 to pair with car.

My 6+ connects properly and plays tunes well. When making calls, however, the system says it needs to "disconnect" the phone because it's being used as a media player. When the phone is disconnected, I can't make a call!! Android worked much better than this Crapple phone, my first foray into the world of iPhones.

Does anyone know what I may be doing incorrectly?

This morning I went through Mcdonald's drive thru for a coffee and paid for it with my iPhone 6 Apple pay. Nice, very nice. I foresee that technology going mainstream fast...........

8.1 resolved my issue. I won't, however, start paying for things via my phone.
