Default will it rub?

i'm going down on J5 coilovers at about 1 finger gap and wondering if 245/35/20 fronts & 285/30/20 rears will definitely rub or not?

seems like i do have much more tire choices by going 245 & 285,
rather than 235 & 275. plus by going wider tires, i'll have more meat to protect the wheel.

your saying a finger gap I don't think you will rub anything lower than a finger gap you will rub as I did with that tire size.

Without knowing your wheel offsets, its hard to say if you will rub or not.

If your not lower than a finger gap I wouldn't worry about rubbing, you could go with the 275 if your worried, you should be good though.

I wanna achieve this look.
This was my old car with 1 finger gap height. no rubbing issues with 245's and 285's

What disk are you? SL, NR, MD, HP? if you are in SL and NR on the rears then i think you can go 285, but i would stick to the 275. If your fronts are SL, NR, and maybe just maybe MD you can go 245 if not you need to roll it.

MD fronts, SL rears.
thanks for your inputs. i'll stick to 275s for the rear and try both 235 and 245 for the front.
I'll keep you guys updated on this set up.

with those offsets in the rear and that drop, you might have to slightly pull fenders if you go with 285's.

I run 275's with +42, and I have just a few millimeters between the fender and the tire.

I don't have a better picture, so you can't really see how close it is, but this is my 20x10.5 +42 w/ 275's.
