Good stuff. And is it just me or is anyone else's B pillar getting scuffed up from the seatbelt retracting so hard?

Mine too.

That's why I keep telling my passengers and myself to hold the damn thing and don't let it go by itself.

Thanks this is great info but now I'm scared of them taking apart door parts and then getting rattling from it. Anyone done this yet.

Great news that there is a fix! Does anyone know if there is a similar TSB for Canada?

My dealer did the drivers side door trim 2 years ago as a goodwill and there is absolutely no rattle but the replacement trim was also dented a few times but less then before due to my consciousness to slowly retract the belt. The new version of this trim better be much more durable.

This is great news. I had the aluminum trim above the glovebox and over the cupholders done for free because it was dented. Then, I asked about the door panel and was told it would be $420 because the whole door panel would have to be replaced. I'll be taking this TSB to Sewell.

$117 for the trim alone right? The whole door panel will cost more than that and I don't think we have to replace the whole panel, just that piece.

Nice, my 1 month old GS has this. I thought it was just a defect in the aluminum, didn't really bother me much but I'll get this addressed at my next service. Thanks for the heads up!
