Default 2015 gs 350

Put my money down on a 2015 GS 350 Luxury today. Orders wont go in until the end of
August with a delivery date in mid October. Didn't want to wait on Possible changes in 2016.
Besides if I want to upgrade I won't do it in the first year model change. I'll wait til the second year
production.

According to Automobile Magazine, no body changes, just trim and colors (Atomic Silver!!!) for 2015.

http://www.automobilemag.com/feature...ew-model-year/

2015 Lexus GS and 2015 Lexus GS Hybrid

The midsize GS sedan also gains Atomic Silver as a new paint option, in addition to standard 18-inch split five-spoke wheels. Lovers of the F Sport package will note the new F Sport badge added to the back of GS 350 models so equipped.

For F Sport-equipped Lexus GS 450h models, the package now includes a 16-way adjustable driver's seat, 19-inch wheels, adaptive variable suspension, bigger front brakes, a rear lip spoiler, aluminum interior trim, a revised front fascia with mesh grille inserts, and adjustable dynamic steering technology.
Has the GS450h been offered here in F Sport trim previously?

I guess they're saving the new body style for the 2016.

The 2015s will only be the 3rd model year the GS has been out.
I think that it's too early for a mid-cycle refresh.

Agreed. Minor changes such as a new color or two, while maybe retiring one or two. Maybe a new option or two, a tweak to the packages, or maybe new wheels is what should be expected.

I am looking to trade up my GS 2013 for a 2015 GS as a lease for 27 months. I have always purchased my Lexus cars all these years but will try leasing since my dealership knows I love new technology. I miss my folding mirrors and auto trunk as well as the LED fog lites and optional LED Headlites and the use of SIRI Eyes FREE or maybe the carplay if available for 2015 as well as the rear cross sensor. My research and talking with my sales associate has shown a possible major change in 2016 with car-GS being introduced as a 2017 model with expanded Internet and third party application use through our smartphones. What are the feelings out there that would assist my decision. Sales associate says get the 2015 and when lease is up then get the second year of the major updates to GS. Greatly appreciate the guidance, folks.

Predicting the future of Lexus, is fruitless. They're the most secret company outside of Cupertino, CA. Hell, Toyoda wanted to discontinue the GS. If it weren't for these folks, we wouldn't have the car that we have today...

How do you arrive at an acceptably low price when you pre-order like this?
Do you have a trade-in and, if so, how does that work when delivery won't happen for three months?

The F-Sport package will be available in the USA for the 2015 GSh, it had previously been available in other markets. The Luxury package is being discontinued for the GSh in 2015. Atomic Silver is available.

It's a strange product planning call. Here in SoCal, almost every 2014 GSh was equipped with the Luxury package. Maybe the bamboo steering wheel was a limited edition.

Still waiting to see what sh@t end of the product line we get offered as a take it or leave no option line up in Canada. Glad to see the bamboo being dropped elsewhere as I hate it in my 2009 RX350... I just keep my eyes up so I don't have to look at it anymore.
