Even Continental's tires are not to be found in Saudi Arabia, they only got ContiSportContact 3 .. thats not enough for me,
So I searched and I ended up with Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2, they will be here in Saudi Arabia in a couple of weeks, maybe a little more, what do you guys think of these? are they any good ? they come in 235/40R19 so they are perfect match for my wheels.
Goodyear Eagles are good tires, they should be quieter if nothing else. I feel sorry for you that you can't get those Michelin SS's though, they're the best.
wow, you must have been pushing pretty hard to slice up the tires like that. Mine came with Dunlops too, I've done some spirited driving through back roads, but not quite up to your level. lol
The Michelin Pilot Super Sport is available in your size and has the proper codes your country requires for importation. I agree that the Pilot Super Sport would make a fantastic tire for you. Did you happen to go autocrossing for those 5km? haha. I have noticed my tires are showing fair signs of feathering after 4000 miles, and I haven't drifted the car once, or taken it to the track (yet).
Sadly they are pretty loud when you're near the edge of traction, I need to find something that doesn't squeal for those times I'm in a controlled slide through a turn so I don't attract the attention of bored police. Especially since my city is in the top 5 safest cities in the country.

no, it wasn't autocrossing but the road surface was rather abrasive. looked like an old asphalt. A few days before I drove my other car with Yokohama Neova AD08 and everything went well.
Guys, do you think its possible for me to install a wider rear tires on my wheels?
I'm talking about width of the rear tires only, if they can be wider or not, tires choice are Pilot Super Sport
I would ask the tire guys for the max tire width you can put on those rims to be sure, but I found this posted on a NSX site with a now dead link to Michelin Tires as where he got the info:
ALSO if you are doing low profile tires then you'll also need keep width down to the 'lower' end as well....so for an 8 inch rim...
8" x 25.4 x 1.1 and/or 1.3 = 223.5 to 264.1 ...so a 265 is on the extreme !!, and would need to be very 'tall', generally recommended is 245.[mid point]

So it sounds like you could go to 245 comfortably, and maybe 255, but 265 wouldn't be recommended. On my IS300 I raced on 225/17/45's which is right at the limit of what is recommended and never had problems.
