Finally got my GS into the garage

The lift comes with drip trays that sit in the lift ramp underneath the S2000, but hopefully it isn't needed

I didn't realize it when we bought the house though (which is big - has over 4000 sq ft) - but the garage itself is only 19' x 19' so it is tiny but at least it had 10' ceilings so I could install the lift. It can fit 2 cars and thats about it. In older homes, I think the garages were closer to 25' x 25'.

Very Nice. I hope you never forget to watch your head as you leave the car.

I hear you - I waited 4 years before finally doing it. Been researching it and reading about it before I finally pulled the trigger.
It is really a 2-step process, have to get the garage door up and out of the way first and then install the lift. Couldn't find someone to do the garage install for awhile and finally found someone who had done it before through HomeAdvisor.com - finding an installer for the lift was also an issue but got some good recommendations from Garagejournal.com

Haha, I never realized how "up on stilts" the AWD models were, looks funny to me. Cool lift though. I'd be scared of banging my head exiting the car every time though. Too tall for stuff like that.

How does the garage door open without hitting the S2000s roof? Can you take pics of where your garage door opener motor is mounted. I am interested in this setup too.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Here is a good DIY explanation : http://ddmgaragedoors.com/diy-instru...conversion.php
Also attached a picture of my garage door to give you an idea of what it looks like.
