Trying to do my homework prior to my next car purchase. The GS F Sport is overwhelming my senses (in a good way) compared to the current BMW 5 series that I own but I missed checking for these small features on my last visit to Lexus dealer for a test drive.,

1)On the GS350 with Parking assist engaged, does an image (or shape) of the car and surrounding obstacles appear on the Nav screen or just the instrument panel? Or does it just beep? I did a quick google and the only thing I found online for Lexus IPA shows a small, crude shaped car outline with obstacles at certain distances all in white outline on black screen.

2) On the '14 GS350 models with color HUD activated, do navigation instructions (direction arrow and street name prompt) appear on windshield? Or just speed/revs/ gear?

3) Lastly, the F Sport sport seat appear to have side bolsters. Are they adjustable (wider or narrower) electronically? Or just fixed in-place. If adjustable electronically, can they be part of the personal key configuration (different settings for different driver)?

BTW: These small features are not the key decisions makers for me because I already think the F Sport is a great package but just a curiosity from someone whose previous cars had them.

I don't have HUD on mine but I can answer the other 2 Qs.

1) It appears on the nav screen and the instrument panel too. It just shows the shape of the car and the lines blinking as u get closer to the object. The object doesn't show though.

3) Yes the side bolsters are power adjustable and can be set to the memory seat preset.

2014 HUD: Direction arrow and distance to go, yes, even a kind of intersection diagram. But not street names. It also displays radio settings while changing stations/tracks or volume. When not doing any of those things, you can put it in a mode where it displays speed only, speed+RPM+gear, speed+"economy" bar graph, and I think that's it.
