Default set up garage door opener with question

I read the directions in the owner's manual about setting the homelink garage door opener. It works fine but now the two existing garage door opener's I had no longer work. Has anyone else had this issue? I have the type of rolling code garage door opener. You have to press the button on the garage door opener then press the home link button in the GS to pair the home link button to the opener. But why would it have kicked out the two other hand held remotes I already had? I tried searching but couldn't find anything related to this issue.

You might have accidently deleted all the codes? (hold down the first and third buttons at the same time)

You should be able to reprogram your remotes.

Yep, I have had this happen too. During the setup process you did something, but no worries. Setup the remotes per their instructions and you should be fine.
