Good price for buying a 2014 gs 350 f sport??
How much should I pay for a new 2014 nebula on Cabernet f sport rwd? Msrp is 59,368. I asked for 56k OTD is that reasonable? Was offered 2300 under invoice, but paying close to 59k for the car seems unreasonable when the 2015 models are coming out soon. Please help, need advice trying to buy tomorrow!

Here is a good thread to read. Lots of deal details from multiple members. You are in CA, so you should be able to get a smokin' deal. :-)

Thanks for the reply, but I was planning to finance it instead of lease. Would the prices for financing still be similar to leasing for OTD price? Do you think 56k OTD is okay?

Sorry for misunderstanding, I was going to finance the car, don't think I have the 1st payment off incentive. But I should ask for 3500 or 4500 under invoice?

You should do the math - I decided to lease the car (27 months / 10k miles per year) because it was cheaper for me to lease the car and then buy it at the end than it was to finance it at 0.9% financing for 60 months (even if I put a big down payment down).
The advantage is if you hate the car or if something new comes out that you just have to have - or maybe the car gets into an accident that is repairable but you just don't want the car anymore - at the end of the lease you can still walk away from the car. But it is even better when the total price paid is cheaper when you lease and buy at the end versus financing.
In CA, the prices I'm told are much more competitive than on the East Coast and the Residual Value for leases is even better.
I just leased a GS350 F-Sport AWD, MSRP was $59,818 and my price was $54,000 including destination but not including taxes, tags, title, dealer fee, etc. I probably could have gotten it down to $53,500 if I pushed hard enough. With the lease rebate ($1750) my price is 52,250.
When all is said and done, if I buy the car after the lease it will cost me roughly $56,500. If I finance the car, and put the same down payment as my lease - it would cost me $57,000. Not a huge difference, but you get the above advantages. I originally planned to put a much larger down payment to finance so I could lower my monthly payments - instead I can take that money and invest it - or do something else with it.

Its a very good deal, but not great. I got my car for $51,500, MSRP is $58,300, Similar to what you got, but my case was very different for many reasons including that the car was a dealer trade. If the car is in STOCK you should be able to push to $51.5k + TAX or better. Its not going to be easy but it can be done, its all part of negotiation, even if you get another $500 OFF is a win.
read my Thread bellow the link, about the negotiating techniques.
