I made an appointment to get this done, together with an oil change. They said it will take 3 days and I will get a loaner. 3 days sounds a bit too long for a job like this?

Chances are, they are backed up... It's a half-day of physical time, but nothing ever works out exactly like that, haha

Had my car done for the brake recall. They needed the Master Technician for it. Took a day and a half and I had a loaner. Everything went smoothly with a full tank of gas and car wash with wax.

Just made my appt for next Thursday.
The person I talked to was just a female who schedules the appointments.I asked how long the repair will take and she put me on hold.Came back and said they weren't sure which was odd.

^ it's a nice way of saying "covering the wash marks"

Thanks for posting, SNiiP3R. I got the letter in the mail too. Kind of waiting to see how it goes with the fix before making the appointment.

I make sure they wash my car by hand and then with wax. They know how fanatical I am.

Wax at no additional cost? Or in this case, no cost at all. Fanatic or not, that almost sounds to good to be true.

I wonder if the 'wax' is the prep wax used when picking up a new vehicle.
