I thought the load sensor was on the assembly inside the car?

I wonder if they are providing loaners? A trip to Vegas might be in my near future.

I received the letter this weekend and had it done today at Lexus of Tampa bay. Dropped it off at 8:30 and got it back at 2:30. They said it was the first one they have done. As a loaner I received a '14 is250 and they filled up my tank for my trouble.

Does the letter specify a VIN range for the cars affected, or does it apply to all 2013 RWD GS350's?

I'm not sure if the VIN range was ever posted, but here's the manufactured date range

JUNE 2014 -- Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain model year 2013 Lexus GS 350 vehicles manufactured June 8, 2012, through December 26, 2012.

VIN # is used, I checked with my dealership yesterday as I am going in for the 20k service Monday. He said my car is not in the recall, I also checked my VIN at the Toyota Recall web site and confirmed there was no outstanding recalls for my vehicle. I bought it last August.

Make sure they give you that free tank of gas! I'm gonna be empty, since this exhaust got me putting more gas in.

For once, I'm glad to be an early adopter, since the first '13 models produced aren't being recalled. I bought mine in April 2012. Checked my VIN today. No recall.

Same here. No recall for me. I'm glad my car won't have to get mess up by their tech.

That's what I was thinking!! When I heard about this back in March I had a service scheduled already so I inquired. They told me my car was not part of the recall, which was nice to hear.
