I agree that the GS is not at all ugly. A little plain, but in my opinion it is classy from most angles. My only real ***** is the fake exhaust "finishers".

Yeah that's a design trend I could do without, the exhaust finishers.

The GS is not ugly, but spindle grill is ugly. The shape is not aggressive to consider a sport.

The new grill is uglier than Acura bottle opener grill.

my thoughts exactly. the GS spindle grill isn't as imposing as the IS, RC or the NX. Its just a one big sheet of mesh grill where the GS is broken up by the bumper line. I too dont like the look of the F sport RC and IS, they both look better with the base features. The GS is just right.

The RCF front end looks better than the RC FSport. The more I look at the RCF the more I don't like the FSport version of that car.

Now the GSF front end isn't looking that good and the FSport version probably will look worse. If this is the direction that Lexus is going then I'll just keep mine.

In terms of looks (midsize luxury market) here are my ranks:

1. 5series w/ Msport package (M sport is a key)
2. Infiniti M37
3. Audi A6
4. New E class
5. Lexus GS
do you have any of these?

ugh I can't stand the E class. It just looks like nothing to me. And the Audi only looks good if it's mega expensive. I feel like the GS just always looks good no matter how much it cost.

I try to like the E-Class because it's a good car over-all. But the exterior just doesn't do it for me.

The E Class is my least favorite car in this segment to look at, sit in, or drive.

Ditto! If they make it look like the new C Class it will be sharp. I don't think the S Class cues work that well on the new C Class because it is too small, but the E Class should be just the right size.

Re: the GS F Sport being ugly... far from it.

Every time I see an Audi doing that I just think, man, how cheap is that? It looks bad.
