Default auto folding mirrors 2014 gs350

I thought that the auto function allows the mirrors to FOLD IN and FOLD OUT when in park or when you turn the car oN, or it only FOLDS OUT when you turn the ignition ON?

Is there a way to have them FOLD IN every time I PARK the car?

Lock it with the button on the door handle and it will work fine.

Like we discussed before...this is a different car and you have to adapt a little to how it works.

There's a setting about whether to fold/unfold the mirrors when you turn the ignition off/on or whether to do it when you lock/unlock the doors (or to disable the auto-folding altogether). I haven't tested that personally, but yeah, it's possible that locking the car from the inside is not considered "locking" it for this purpose because the car doesn't know whether you're planning to stay in the car or not. But yeah, I'd say this is easily fixable by locking it from the touch sensor on the door handle instead. It's about the same amount of work, if not less. I'm guessing the habit of locking from the inside is from an old car that didn't have a remote, maybe? (and certainly not a smart key)

The setting I'm talking about in Carista is:

Auto fold side-view mirrors
WITH IGNITION / WITH DOOR LOCKS / DISABLED

Where do I find this function? I have a 2013 GS350. I would love this option.

I never tried the door handle. Just click it once?

For the poster above, the folding mirrors only on the 2014 models.

Yup, it's an app that can change Lexus settings, but it's only for Android for now. We just started working on an iOS version.

Do you use the smart key when you get in the car or do you unlock it by pushing the button on the fob?
