Hell no the two piece is pretty heavy def. heavier than the awd rotor. The knuckle was the biggest obstacle it was different obv cause of awd system. I thought it would be an easy bolt on system getting new rotors and calipers but it was a no go.

Thanks for the info, as cool as the two-piece rotors look, the weight savings (or lack thereof) was a good reason to upgrade.

I assume the larger rotors & pads help with stopping power, and heat dispersion, but at the cost of more un-sprung mass.

Now, all we need is some tests to see which car slows down faster the AWD, or the RWD F-Sport.

Pretty sure the RWD will slow down faster more surface area and better ventilation.

I wanted to bump this, as I am looking for substantially more braking capacity out of my AWD, but don't want to commit the $2,800 dollars it appears it would cost to go with GS-F brakes and I want to continue using my F-Sport wheels without spacers in the short term.

What, specifically, about the knuckle was different that the rotor wouldn't slip right on and the caliper bolt right up? I know the dust shield must be cut, but is there anything else that interfered, like a different caliper mounting or the rotor not seating on the hub? Was it an issue with the 2-piece rotor hat?

Looking at the parts catalogue, there are only 2 rotors available for each corner of the 4GS, either the 14" or the 13.1". It appears that the front rotors for both the AWD and Base RWD are the same part number: 43512-30351 (right) and 43516-30041 (left). However, there are 3 different calipers for each corner: -22460, -30560, -30600. I imagine, then, that the issue is not rotor fitment but caliper alignment on the rotor or caliper mounting itself.
