Since too many have Vossen and Velgen, I got these instead.

Default Since too many have Vossen and Velgen, I got these instead.

I love the look of Vossen and Velgen wheels, but so many 4GS members have them that I didn't want to join the crowd. My local Lexus dealership is an authorized dealer for Vossen and collaborates with a local performance shop to mount their wheels onto Lexus models. They also charge a hefty amount over MSRP for the Vossens. With that said, it was completely out of the question. Couldn't decide on whether I wanted to go with HRE or VIP Modular, but in the end, I decided to go with a set of custom 3-piece forged Avant Garde. Also considered ADV.1 and Forgiato's, as well as Work Kranze Bazeria. Always been a fan of mesh wheels and this design by AG was my cup of tea. Customer service is top notch. Yuya of AG Wheels is the man to go to when building custom wheels. The HRE vintage series was going to cost me over $8000 with the finish that I wanted. VIP modular VSX110 was becoming too popular, so I switched it up. Alex and Duy of Team Nemesis Texas also had a great hand in assisting me with the build. Kudos to those guys!

3 month build. 20x10 & 20x11. Custom offsets. This was the first time I built a custom set of wheels and will definitely be doing it again in the future through AG. A lot of customers choose to only have the outer barrel chromed or polished. I opted for the latter. I had the entire inner and outer barrel fully chromed. Added rose-gold hardware rivets. The hardware rivets were rose gold plated, not powdercoated. My forged center caps weren't completed when they shipped me the wheels, but they will be here soon enough. Will be utilizing the standard silver brushed caps until my forged caps arrive. Will try to find the time to mount the tires this week and throw them on the GS later on. These are the only pictures I have of the wheels. I took over 20 pictures, but they did not save to my memory card. I will take more this weekend.

Nice. Can't go wrong with forged wheels.

They are in the low 20's. I believe ET22 all around. Not exactly sure. I'm running a mild stretch with rolled rears. Will see if a pull is needed once the wheels go on. I'm almost 100% certain I will have to pull.

Was able to get two more pictures loaded up. Edited first post.

Also yes you will definitely need a pull. Especially in the rear. This is basically the AG wheel version of my setup lol. Good luck!

Classic! If you haven't already, consider ceramic brake pads...otherwise upkeep will be tedious (:

Those are going to look sweet on the car. Assuming that is your white GS in the background, I would even think these rims with gold centers and a polished lip would look bad ***..

Can't wait to see these mounted.

Welp I have updated pics. Looks like our friend Dennis is going to have a bit of trouble fitting these :O lol

But less aggressive specs than mine
