Also keep in mind variables such as vehicle weight (add-ons), weather/temp/environment, tire inflation, quality of gas etc.
Something to look forward to...i've got 1900mi.

Here's my mileage, fully broken in 2013. One overall, one since refueling, I'm about 1/3rd of the way into that tank. Probably 50% Highway, 50% suburban.

In comparison, my 5,000 lb Jeep also with a V6 overages about 18.5-19 overall. 21 or so on a trip. On a trip I can get 25 or so with the GS.

Overall I would rate the fuel economy as pretty poor...love the car anyways.

EDIT- Sorry they are sideways...no idea why the forum does that with iPhone pics.

I've owned 59 four wheel vehicles and I'm **** about tracking my mileage - I've never seen a car get better mileage with break in. I think many people drive a car differently when new - probably more short trips around where they live just to have an excuse to drive the car, and maybe are just driving a different style as they try out the new found toy. But whatever the reason, I've never seen it go up. I drove ours at a steady 70 mph the week we got it and it got 31 on the highway just like it does now with 2,000 miles on it.

I do agree there are a lot of other factors. Summer vs winter gasoline makes a very noticeable difference for me.

Guilty!

I love this car, wouldn't trade for anything except for an LS.

I'm also wondering if everybody is going by what the computer is guesstimating or if you're actually dividing your mileage by how many gallons of fuel you used?

I consistently get 27-28 MPG on my 2013 F-Sport, all in town driving. I have 11,000 miles on the car.

To everyone else reading this...and you are the only person claiming to get anywhere near that mileage on the car...including the EPA.

Since nobody else's GS's get that on the highway at 55MPH I think everyone should take that with a grain of salt.

I did once and the result was pretty close to the computer.

Those computers have very good information to work with. I've never found them to be off by more than about 1/2 mpg. And it's pretty easy to do simple math in your head when you fill up. My other counter to that is to ask you if you have ever checked the accuracy of the odometer.

What you must be driving 20MPH I couldn't even get that if I was driving slow, and in town as well.
