I would however be carefull with the specs, in a floored accelleration to topspeed the GS450h may just surprise a GS350 driver. 0-60 it is nice, but not impressive. It becomes nice after that. Have a friend with a 335i that also thought it wouldn't be much of a difference
Welcome to the GS450h club hube Actually, maybe you should be welcoming me since I bought my car after yours, haha.

Here is the topic where I posted about mine: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...erage-guy.html

We have the exact same color choice! I love the Nebula Gray - it's probably one of the favorites on the car.

By the way, your post on the acceleration is exactly what I stated not long ago as well: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...ml#post8868389

We definitely think alike in more ways than one! Anyway, hope you're enjoying your ride my friend. I absolutely love mine! I like the mods you have done to yours as well. If you have any recent photos, please post them sometime.

All the best,

~ Im2bz2p345

Nice to speak to another GS450h driver You are so right about the acceleration above 60mph.

Man do you have shiny rims!!

My car was a demonstration vehicle of Lexus italy. You can actualy see it in action in the 120 heartbeats video.

The car with registration EN507EE is the car I bought and imported to The Netherlands. I also don't buy new but prefer a demo.

In 5 weeks the car will be lowered on the springs. The beginning of April I will have the VFS-2 set on the car. I will post pics then

GS350 was available on our market but only AWD version with limited topspeed at 190kmh.

I just checked the official website and 350 AWD is no more there. The current offer is 250, 300h and 450h. All available in F Sport.

So for us in EU is 450h the only way when we want appropriate power

BTW the acceleration is very nice in the speed above 100kmh. It's like neverending love stopped by limiter at 250kmh

Today the car has been lowered on the Downsus springs of RSR. This is the effect:

One month to go untill the VFS-2's are mounted. I am quite eager to find out if this gives the desired effect!

Your car is beautiful hube! Love the mods that you've done to give it a more aggressive look, while also remaining classy.

The new rims definitely compliment your desired look a lot more than the stock rims.

Thanks for the update/pictures,

Welcome Here in Europe modding a car isn't really as much done as in the States. People like to buy their car and drive it the way it came out of the box. The group of people that end up modifying are the ones buying the older cars. A lot of the time that's when you get that ricer effect. 1.6l 4 cilinder engines with a spoiler the size of Canada on the boot.

So it was quite a challenge getting things done. Luckily Vossen is working hard getting a foot in Europe, so the wheels were the least of the problem. And Mike helped me here getting the sizes right and the info on the springs I needed.

That being said, I still have quite some rubbing. The tires are hitting the inside quite a lot. This will be solved this Friday hopefully.

Some new goodies have arrived

This needed to be done because my shocks are failing. At this moment 3 of the 4 shocks have gone bad. The car also starts to sit lower and lower and rubbing is getting worse. It just doesn't like the RSR springs.

So you can just imagine how relieved I am these boys arrived!

Hube has the new J5 Suspension solved the rubbing issue now?

I'm on tanabe's still and rolled fenders and still have that that occasional rear rubbing issue over speed bumps and going through intersections.
