I have plasti dipped my previous vehicles, 2011 Tahoe and a 2014 Silverado because I hate chrome. Was on the fence about plastidipping the GS but now that I see it I think I will do mine as well.

all that prep and tape wasn't necessary tho OP, you wasted a lot of time with that lol

its plasti dip, if you get some excess past the tape marks its okay, it'll come off

damn its that serious huh? NY really trying to squeeze every penny they can out of citizens.

For my state it isn't nearly as serious, again they only require a front plate so they can ticket people who dont have one. If it was really a necessity or a requirement the front plate area would have lighting for nighttime
