Had dealer program the FOB to allow windows to open via same, Asked about retrofitting power folding mirrors and service adviser said basically it would be cost prohibitive given the $125/hr labor charge.

well i can think of a few things that might need changing
door lock ecu's
driver side master switch
rest i think should work like factory
what i have found is that most of the wires on a lexus (any region in the world) is pretty much the same
and only modules and ecu's need to be changed

Well, if you have all the parts that are needed, could you send those to me. I will give it a go and let everyone know how it goes.

I was looking at wiring diagrams and parts catalog and it looks like all you need is the mirror actuators and master switch as stated before. The mirror switch communicates with the door ECUs via BEAN and the ECUs share part numbers from '13MY to '14MY. Also the mirror connectors plug into the MPX DOOR ECUs so the mirrors with power folding option would come with the wiring as well.

Buying a new car is alot more money. $1200-$3000 is a lot less than buying a new car. Hell sales taxes alone will fall some where around there. Plus the extra you will pay minus the difference of you 2013 GS. So the less expensive way is to retrofit... Plus I have 2400 miles on my GSh. There is no way I trade her in. I love her.
All I need are the part numbers and a sunny Sat or Sun and this project would be a done deal!!!

Yes I live in a city with extremely narrow streets, DC. Personally I would not have even bought the car, if I had known it did not have it. But that is my fault for not doing my home work. Now I have to figure out the most cost effective way to rectify my lack of do-diligence and retrofitting seems to be the ticket...
