Selection "Option 5" for customer satisfaction dept. I just had a pleasant conversation regarding this issue, they documented my concerns and will forward. All I had to do is leave my name and car model. They asked if I've brought my car in for inspection but I commented on our discussions amongst ourselves here on the CL boards.
Finally, when pressed, she did say that if enough people called in about the problem, maybe someone would consider taking action.
Sooooooooo ... if YOU are having the problem, please call 1-800-25-LEXUS and, as you noted, I think it is option 5 you press.

Perhaps if someone was to report the consequences to them of such a <real> garbled conversation, Lexus may actually begin to show some interest in resolving the issue. Possibly a mistaken trading symbol resulted in a loss of several thousand dollars; or a misheard word resulted in a wife hearing an admission of guilt rather than a protestation of innocence with predictable results; even a boss hearing a "shove it" when the message should have been "I love it." The possibilities are endless. Use your imagination...
