I second that i was praying i didn't end up with those wheels on my GS but to each his own.

I thought the same way. I thought about swapping them out and putting nice wheels on them but with NY winters.. not happening. And IMO having 2 sets of wheels for a DD seems a bit excessive.

Though I walked away because they wanted too much for the vehicle and they kept on adding options that I told them not to.
I have almost the exact same vehicle now.
Wow small world!

So were you planning to buy that car or lease it? How much did you offer to buy that car for and how much were they willing to negotiate. I hope I got a good deal with your special order. They sold it to me for about $52,000 so after taxes was about $56,000 OTD.

I think I bought your special order because it was Lexus of Knox and the salesman told me it was special ordered and the buyer ended up getting an GS Fsport.

So did you get an GS Fsport?

Congrats and welcome! I wouldn't call the wheels ugly. Give them sometime and you may change your view. IMO they blend with the luxury model well. I never disliked the wheel but actually like them after awhile.

I was going to buy the car.
The salesman offered me $57832 plus doc. fees & taxes. I had already talked with another salesman during the summer and he had offered me a couple thousand less than this. I was going to argue this point but they had also already added on an accessories package I didn't want and they told me they were adding on additional dealer options (pinstripes, door edge guards, etc.) and that I was going to have to pay for them even though I had already told them I didn't want them. Also, they added on the heated rear seats to my order even though I didn't want them and though they told me they took them off and furnished me with a copy of an updated invoice, I later found out that they straight up lied to me and never actually canceled it at all. It looks like they also added on the remote start, breakage sensor, and I thought they added on the illuminated door sills as well.

I ended up ordering the same car from Nalley Lexus in Atlanta with no problems at all. Silver on black 2014 GS350 RWD with cold weather, luxury package, mark levinson, navigation, blind spot, power trunk, park assist. I bought it for almost exactly $56,000.

I think you got a great deal. The vehicle was supposed to get to the dealership around 12/11 so they had it sitting on the lot for around 3 months before you got it. I'm thinking they were glad to get rid of it since most probably buy with just the premium package and a loaded one is harder to sell.

Wow sounds like you had a bad experience with this dealership. I guess they kelp on adding more accessories after you left to try lure in someone to buy it. I guess the person they lured was me! Lol good to know I got a good deal on it anyways. This dealership doing this is not very nice. I think its wrong to modify or add to a special order....this was the same dealership that refused to loan me a Lexus loaner a week ago when I wanted windows tinted at dealership. I eventually talked to my salesperson and he hooked me up with a 2014 ES350 loaner that was supposedly unavailble that very same day I requested. Seems like something fishy going on in that dealership.

Well, I am glad you ended up getting the car you want at the right price.

Note: I forgot to mention that my car also had illuminated door sills too! Lol
This really was your car I am 100% sure too.
