Default I want to add the power folding mirrors to my 2013

Does any one have a list of parts to retrofit my 20 13 GS450h with power folding mirrors? I am very handy. I have replaced side mirrors in my old Lexus's in the past. If I can get the parts that I need to do the job, I will post pics as I do the job and post here...

Thanks in advance,

Since you would have to replace the mirror assembly, can you also check on also adding rear cross traffic alert since the warning is on the mirror like the blind spot monitor. Hopefully it would be plug and play since the sensors are the same ones used for the bsm.

Sure, I will check on that as well, since the indicator is in the mirror as well.

A good first step might be to email Sewell Lexus and see if they can get some parts numbers for you. They have part numbers listed online for the '14 GS mirrors but they are listed as the same numbers as the '13 models.

The cross traffic alert utilizes the indicator in the mirror as well but the blind spot detection sensors are in the rear sides of the bumper. The question is if the sensor is the same for both systems or not... Theoretically it could just be software, but who knows.

I would not be surprised if the mirrors already have the motors and we just need to change the master switch on the door to add the buttons.

I dont think our mirrors come with motors. Since both master switches are pretty much identical, there is maybe $50 difference between the two. Lexus specificly excluded power mirrors option to keep the price down, so I doubt that $50 would make a difference. There is more involved I'm sure.

I have taken the mirror apart and there is no motor in it, so that has to be a whole new unit .

No folding mirrors and no fog lights in the F- Sport = dumb.

Nope. Not that it's not possible, just no one had done it yet.

It won't be that easy cause the auto folding mirrors feature is also linked to the ECU and is customizable with the OBD2 tools (Carista app). So unless u add a standalone folding switch, how are u going to program that to the ECU? Adding the RCTA will be even more complicated and could cost a lot of $$$ to program it.

Is RCTA an option on 15? I've seen a few even the one with rear steering only says BSM with power folding mirrors. No where does it mention RCTA

2015 cars equipped with BSM and Park Assist are equipped with RCTA.
