Default Invidia full exhaust questions

Hello 4gs owners, this question goes out to everyone who has the Invidia exhaust installed. Is there a lot of drone with this exhaust? I know that drone should be expected, but at what rpm does it really kick in? I currently have a custom built exhaust and the drone is killing me, and is most annoying around 2-3k, so I purchased the invidia yesterday. Should get here in a week, just wanted to chime in to see what other owners think.

I got the full exhaust on my awd gs f sport and IMO very little drone. Only hear a lil bit of drone when cruising from a stop but not loud in highway I hear no drone. After the car warms up sounds so much better

Wait u getting axle back muffler only for full catback?

Axle back you barely hear a difference since I had it first. But full catback u gotta get driver side pipe custom bent and made to fit the awd

Yeah I saw in one of your threads you had a custom pipe done. I'm going to have to do the same thing.

Is the drone bad at all? Will it make listening to music without cranking up the volume as enjoyable as stock? When cruising on the highway, rpm's are usually around the 2-3k area. I hope its not like teeth cringing drone.

The drone is no where near annoying IMO.

As others have said there's no drone. There's some increased cabin noise at low rpm but at crusing speeds and above 4K RPM there is no drone or noise to speak of. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Yeah I try not to put coins anywhere. The window controls on the driver side door make some rattling noises when I blast some heavy bass music though.

Just wondering, how much did that cost you at the shop to do the custom work? I also have an AWD and am debating between getting the Invidia or JoeZ axle back. I want the full system but not sure what to do.
