Fixing a tear in the leather
I've only had my car 3 weeks and I already have a rip in my steering wheel leather.
It really pisses me off.
I'm not sure if the rip was already there when I picked up the car and I'm just noticing is now or if I did it myself (or my wife).
It is only ~1mm wide but I can't stop thinking about it and I look at it every time I hop in the car now.
Has anyone had to repair the leather in their car yet?
Is there any easy way to fix this small tear?
It really pisses me off.

That's tiny enough to ignore for me, and I bet it was there to begin with. What else could have cut it besides sharp fingernails or jewelry?
Like MKIV said, I'd get ahold of it with some tweezers and an X-acto knife and do minor surgery to remove the flap. Or apply a teeny tiny drop of superglue to the point of a toothpick and stick that under it. Depends on your taste and dexterity I suppose.
