Anyone using Siri Eyes only in 14 GS
Hello all, just traded my first gen 13 for a 14 GS F sport nebula grey. Siri eyes only sounds great in theory but mine wont work, I've paired and re-paired the phone, iPhone 5s with most up to date ios software (7.1) i press the off the hook button and the screen brings up the eyes only icon but nothing happens. The phone disconnects the blue tooth then reconnects about 10 seconds after that. anyone with similar issue?

I just bought a 14 GS F and haven't been able to figure it out either.

What is Siri Eyes and how can i tell if I am using it? My iphone 5s is paired and it will read me text messages and I can dial by voice. Is there anything else I'm missing?

It basically allows you to use Siri rather than your in car voice guidance system. I use this on my '14 GS with only an occasional problem (once a month maybe) that requires me to power the car off and back on before it's resolved. I haven't tried completely removing the pairing when this happens, but I have tried turning the bluetooth off and back on with no luck.

I fixed mined through my phone.
Settings
Bluetooth

This allowed me to have Siri work through the car, and now my text messages are read aloud through the car.

How do you place a call or ask siri a question? Hold down the home button on the iPhone and the sound is routed thru the car?

When you're talking to Siri, can you have her pull up the directions on the phone and then display them on the Nav screen? The voice recognition on the Lexus system is freaking terrible.

She will talk you through the directions but the map will not show on the car's display. I believe that is something CarPlay would add. Apple just announced that tho, so its highly unlikely it will ever been on any Lexus that has already been released. Future models only I'm guessing.

Occasionally I have that issue, but for me it's only a one time thing; when I push the button again after it fails, it usually works.
Needsdecaf/Junior1790, Have either of you tried a different iPhone or had the chance to try your phone in another Lexus (GS or otherwise) that has Siri eyes free?
