Default Cracked windshield, bent front rim, what's next? lol

I fixed the rim, but not sure what to do with my windshield. The crack is growing.....

Take it to a Lexus for repairs? I do have night vision and HUD, so I may need a special windshield ?

Odd thing to say in your situation but you're lucky you have HUD.
Your insurance company will probably have to pay for a oem windshield vs an aftermarket.

Correct, your insurance will coverage windshield replacement under Comprehensive claim (you have to pay deductible in most state). I dont think there is Aftermarket windshield with HUD and Night vision so they will have to pay for OEM.

Well, insurance said they will cover $1,200. However, the windshield I need they said will cost $1,723 + labor.

I hit a pothole and few days later on the way to work a huge rock smashed the side of the windshield

Well, after a long conversation, they agreed to cover the expenses.

Glad to hear they will cover the expenses. For future reference, maybe you want to make sure the insurance policy spells out all the special equipment you have (unless those are standard to your car and the insurance company should know it by the VIN). For my BMW MCoupe, I have extra rider to cover my BBS wheels, exhaust systems and such. Only cost a few bucks more but I dont have to worry about keeping receipts on those parts.

Glad they covered the whole thing. $1700 though... Those rocks better stay away from my windshield!
