No, you're not the only one just this morning I saw 7 cars on the side of the road, all with flats..... They are not fixing anything around here

Suddenly I don't feel so stupid for taking out the Lexus warranty on RIMS and tires!

Would damage caused by driving over a pothole be covered under the warranty? How about getting a nail in your tire?

I declined the warranty but now I'm thinking maybe I should've taken it.

They claim they will repair or replace the rim. For flat tires, they replace the tire. No plugs or patches!

I turned the pre-collision system off, because it almost got me into an accident twice. PCS does not like the way I drive

Interesting. Maybe I should have paid attention when my finance manager was trying to sell me stuff while signing papers. Is this something offered by Lexus or a 3rd party warranty the dealer is selling? How much was it?

Thanks.

It is offered by Lexus. Honored at any Lexus dealership. I would not have taken it out if it was a dealer supplied option.

Do you remember how much it was? I'd assume it got rolled into your monthly payment. I wonder if I can pay a lump sum amd get it now. It's been less than 2 weeks since I signed the papers.

I tried to add wheel+tire to my GS this week as I got a nail in my tire (which then needed to be replaced). The dealer told me $1100 and change for 3 year warranty. Anyone have any experience negotiating this down? The dealer wouldn't budge on the price.

He wanted $1100 PLUS the cost of the warranty? Wow! Makes me want to buy a GS just to part it out.

huh? The finance guy at the dealer told me the tire and wheel warranty is $1100 (not even, just don't remember how much exactly) to cover my GS for 3 years.

I posted earlier that I got a price quote of around $750. I had an employee discount so I got it for a bit less. As this is through Lexus it doesn't make sense that their price was that high. Might want to try calling another dealer. Did you ask what the price would have been if you had purchased it with the car?
