Sticker 59400 paid 55500. I briefly considered a BMW 528, but ultimately reliability scared me off. That plus the higher cost too. If I was a 2 or 3 year leaser and not a 6 to 8 year owner those factors may not have mattered. I will say the BMW's are Very nice cars, test drove an alpine white/black one. If anyone is interested there is thread over on bimmerfest comparing 5 series to GS. Not a lot of love for the GS's.

You made the right decision. 2 years now with my '13 GS F Sport and I love it every time I drive it!

Even though it's going to be garaged at night I'm still thinking about adding it.
Nice. You will find the extra spending is well worth it. You picked the best looking exterior for luxury. Now you just need to find the time to keep it this way. I would suggest a coating and hand wash only if you have not thought about this yet. IMO, you made a right decision. I too wanted the 5 first but decided to go with the GS. Reliability is a big one for me but GS offers other good stuff too. MT actually did a comparison (I think it's called Mid 40 crisis or something like that) and named the GS the ultimate driving machine. I made my decision mostly based on this and some great feedback from this forum. Enjoy your new car.

Very satisfied, love the car. Its firmer at low speeds over potholes and such, but never harsh. I actually think it rides just as well if not better than the ES at speed where the overall suspension feels more refined.
It sure felt fake! It was so slippery at the slightest bit of moisture that it was annoying.

BMW fanboys are fanatical and very biased. Also, money is no object for most of them. BMW cars are the epitome to them, all the quirks and defects are ignored. I find it amusing that BMW owners/fanboys will constantly b**tch about their cars but won't drive anything else.

It's a neverending pissing contest.

It took awhile, but I finally got a black/black lux package GS. The dealer didn't have one but found one in Houston, but it got bought by someone there. My dealer ended up getting one from Oklahoma. It also has illuminated door Lexus logos and a trunk lip spoiler. I wasn't really interested in those, but agreed to it because I was tired of waiting. Dealer ended up giving me this car at same price as the first one without those features. nice.

Good bye ES

Is it just me but is it hard to tell the 13/14 ES350 from the new LS460? The GS350 has different lines. I'm drawn to the balanced look of the ES/LS but like the sporty luxury of the GS. I am still torn between buying a low mileage 13 GS350 or a new 14 ES350. Even though they are different types of vehicles they both have the Lexus quality and reliability that are my top priorities.

I don't have an issue telling the ES and LS apart...
